Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) travel assignment in Rochester, NY. Start date: 08/17/2026. Assignment duration: Weeks. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Weekly pay: $1,896 - $1,943 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Unit type: MS/Tele clinical track in a hospital setting with a 19-bed census, caring for Adults and Geriatrics. Primary diagnoses may include colon cancer, intestinal obstruction, breast cancer, morbid obesity, cholecystitis, and appendicitis. Charting required in Epic; COVID-19 vaccine not required.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the MS/Tele unit, including assessments, care planning, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including phlebotomy and IV placement as needed
- Monitor rhythms and patient status; interpret dysrhythmias and participate in Rapid Response/Code team activities when required
- Perform peripheral line care, oxygen delivery, and non-invasive airway support; enforce isolation precautions and PPE use
- Document care and updates in Epic accurately and in a timely manner; contribute to interdisciplinary rounds and care coordination
- Collaborate with IV team, PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and other support services on patient care plans

Requirements
- Current New York RN license in hand (not pending)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience
- Epic charting experience required
- Phlebotomy and IV insertion/placement competencies
- Ability to work in a hospital MS/Tele setting and float within scope; Night shift with 3x12 schedule
