Title
Medical-Surgical / Telemetry RN (MS/Tele)

Schedule
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend (EOW)
- Day/Evening ratios: 5:1 (stretch 6-7)
- Night ratios: 6-7:1 (stretch 8-10 if short-staffed)

Requirements
- NY RN license required in hand to submit
- Minimum 1 year recent RN experience
- BLS certification required
- Epic charting experience required
- Mandatory competencies: phlebotomy and IV insertion
- Core clinical skills: telemetry/dysrhythmia interpretation and management, rapid response activation, peripheral line care, oxygen delivery (nasal cannula, masks, portable tanks), non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions/PPE

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, managing potential dysrhythmias effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform routine procedures such as IV insertion and blood draws.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Support patients with activities of daily living, ensuring comfort and safety.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 5 hours
- RTO limitations apply (confirm with recruiter prior to submittal)
- Candidates within 75 miles are not accepted
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
