Position Overview Join the prestigious Stony Brook University School of Medicine as a full‑time faculty member in our dynamic division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Position Highlights Full‑time faculty position Predominantly outpatient clinical responsibilities with minimal inpatient, weekend and night coverage Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Support from GI fellows and advanced practice providers Ideal for work‑life balance Preference for expertise in general gastroenterology and/or hepatology About the Division The GI Division includes an outstanding faculty of 12 specialists, 13 fellows and a dedicated support team of skilled nurses, endoscopy technicians and advanced practice providers. State‑of‑the‑art facilities: a large hospital‑based endoscopy unit with dedicated procedure time and a conveniently located ambulatory care pavilion on campus. Qualifications Required MD (or foreign equivalent) Board Certified in Internal Medicine Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Experience in clinical care and teaching Proficiency in various endoscopic procedures Preferred Expertise in general gastroenterology Other Information Tenure/Non‑Tenure Track position. FLSA exempt. To qualify for tenure and/or a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine. Anticipated start date: As soon as possible.
