Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (11:00–23:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room with an average daily census of approximately 220 visits per day
• Manage a broad patient acuity range including stroke, STEMI, trauma, critically ill, and behavioral health presentations
• Accurately document patient care and clinical assessments using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective emergency interventions
• Float between like units within the facility or to a nearby sister facility as needed and within scope of practice
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard scheduling requirement

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required
• Active Washington State RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
• Must be comfortable working in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department environment
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Level II Trauma Center or comparable high-acuity facility
• Experience managing stroke, STEMI, and trauma patients in an emergency setting
