• Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
• Schedule: Sunday–Tuesday and Thursday–Saturday
• Experience Required: 1 Year
• Pay Rate: $33 to $43 per hour

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide advanced emergency medical care to patients in pre-hospital and emergency situations
• Assess patients quickly and accurately to determine the appropriate level of care
• Perform advanced life-support procedures within scope of practice and established protocols
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygen saturation, and other critical patient indicators
• Administer medications and perform advanced emergency interventions as authorized
• Perform airway management, including advanced airway techniques when clinically indicated
• Provide cardiac monitoring, defibrillation, cardioversion, and other emergency cardiac interventions as required
• Provide trauma care, including bleeding control, spinal precautions, splinting, and other emergency interventions
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies, traumatic injuries, and other urgent situations
• Provide pediatric and adult emergency care according to established protocols
• Communicate effectively with receiving hospitals, physicians, nurses, dispatch personnel, and other emergency responders
• Safely transport patients while continuously monitoring their condition
• Maintain accurate and complete patient care reports and clinical documentation
• Maintain emergency medical equipment, medications, and supplies in a ready-to-use condition
• Participate in emergency preparedness, disaster response, and incident command activities
• Follow applicable EMS protocols, OSHA standards, HIPAA requirements, and patient safety practices
• Maintain professional composure and compassionate communication with patients and families during stressful situations

• Current NREMT Paramedic Certification
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Current ITLS or PHTLS
• ICS 100
• ICS 200
• ICS 700
• ICS 800

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Paramedic experience
• Current NREMT Paramedic Certification required
• Strong knowledge of advanced emergency medical procedures and protocols
• Experience providing emergency care to adult and pediatric patients
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure emergency situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong understanding of patient safety, infection prevention, and emergency preparedness
• Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with EMS and healthcare team
