Occupational Health Nurse

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to coordinate the care of ill and injured workers, facilitate return to work assessments, and manage fit-for-duty evaluations. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and delivering comprehensive health services to employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and manage return to work assessments for employees.
• Engage with medical resources to support clinical activities, including virtual screenings and medical evaluations.
• Partner with HR for compliance with FMLA, ADA, and medical testing requirements.
• Deliver quality basic and advanced life support in collaboration with emergency response teams.
• Administer comprehensive occupational health programs, including medical monitoring and assessments.
• Work with vendors to facilitate health services programs as per business needs.
• Participate in risk assessments and chemical clearance processes.
• Provide health coaching and champion wellness programs.
• Maintain data confidentiality and compliance with electronic medical records systems.

Qualifications

• RN Nursing Degree or higher.
• An unencumbered nursing license and ability to obtain a license if not currently licensed in the state.
• Preferred experience in Occupational Health, ER, or Urgent Care.

Additional Requirements

Part-time hours: 20 hours per week, including 3 days onsite and 2 days virtual work for documentation and virtual care.
