I am a second-generation State Farm Agent with 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, following in the footsteps of my father, who has been an agent for 52 years. I hold a finance degree from the University of Texas at Pan American and have continued my education with certifications from The American College. Our agency is a family-oriented team where collaboration, growth, and support are key values. We currently have two full-time licensed team members in the office and one part-time employee. We believe in rewarding hard work, offering a bonus plan based on individual production, and after one year, team members are eligible for a 3% matching Simple IRA plan. ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Ruben Cardenas Jr - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. Grow your career as you better your community. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage customer accounts and update information in the database. Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries. Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status. Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
