Job Description

A Wintzell's Oyster House Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations. They are responsible for upholding Wintzell's standards for high-quality meals in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, measuring, and mixing foods.
Cook meals using grills, ovens, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
Follow recipes and portion-control guidelines.
Ensure food is presented attractively and served on time.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas.
Monitor food inventory and notify supervisors of shortages.
Store food properly and follow health and safety regulations.
Assist with menu preparation and special dietary requests when needed.
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers.
