Principal Platform Lead and take on a pivotal role in leading a multi-faceted infrastructure team that supports our project modernization initiatives. You will lead a team of 10-15 Platform/Hardware Engineers, working on program development and sustainment activities in a COTS-based compute environment. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer needs and align with the strategic objectives of the organization.What You Will DoLead and manage a team of 10-15 Platform/Hardware Engineers, providing mentorship, career development, and performance feedbackOversee program development and sustainment activities in a Linux and Windows-based COTS compute environmentCoordinate team staffing, training, and development to meet organizational and program needsSupport the deployment and installation of complex systems at both CONUS and OCONUS sites, including Linux and Windows systems administration, network design, and COTS assembly and integrationMonitor and report on program cost, schedule, and performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer expectationsProvide technical guidance to team members and facilitate communication between the program and Functional Engineering Leadership teamsCollaborate with program managers to ensure customer satisfaction with delivered products and servicesParticipate in proposal development, including creating and reviewing cost estimates and Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and presenting to senior leadershipEnsure compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and organizational policies, including ASME Standards, IEEE Specifications, and IPC StandardsQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of related work experienceExperience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or SAFeExperience with program cost and schedule monitoring and reportingExperience with the deployment and installation of complex systemsExperience with ASME Standards, IEEE Specifications, IPC Standards, Windows OS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and VMware solutionsExperience in toolsets such as Visio, CREO, AutoCAD, cPDM (Windchill), and the Microsoft Office SuiteActive and Current TS/SCI security clearance is required day 1.
