Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 5x8 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM as needed

• On-call requirement: 1 weekday and 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, including holidays

• 13-week contract with possible extension

• 1.5-2 years of experience required with travel experience required

• Must possess RT license to operate fluoroscopy machines in West Virginia

• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT (ARRT CI preferred)

• Graduate of approved School of Radiologic Technology required

• Must be registered by A.R.R.T. with R.T.(R) credentials

• WV Medical Imaging License required

• Scrubs provided by facility

• EMR system: Cerner

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and endovascular peripheral interventions

• Monitor patient hemodynamic status and document during procedures

• Scrub during endovascular procedures to assist physicians

• Experience required in diagnostic cardiac cath lab, interventional cardiac cath lab, and special procedures

• Skills include cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, and various vascular procedures

• Physical requirements include frequent lifting up to 25 lbs with maximum lifting of 50 lbs

• Must complete mandatory in-services, staff meetings, and competency assessments
