This role helps participants identify goals, overcome barriers, access resources, and build pathways toward long-term self-sufficiency. Navigator II serves as an advanced-level role, supporting more complex caseloads, providing team guidance, and contributing to program development and community partnerships. Key Responsibilities Conduct participant intake, determine eligibility, and develop individualized self-sufficiency plans Provide case management and ongoing support to youth and adults pursuing employment, education, and training goals Coordinate referrals and supportive services to reduce barriers to success Maintain accurate case files, documentation, and program data in compliance with grant and reporting requirements Support employment readiness through career planning, job search assistance, and work-based learning opportunities Build and maintain partnerships with employers, educational institutions, community organizations, and Tribal entities Administer supportive service funds and program benefits according to policy and procedures Participate in team meetings, training, outreach, and continuous program improvement efforts Additional Navigator II Responsibilities: Manage more complex participant cases with greater independence Support onboarding, training, and mentorship of Navigator I staff Assist with outreach planning and community partnership development Coordinate subsidized employment, internships, apprenticeships, and related workforce opportunities Develop and deliver participant workshops and training sessions Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred Two or more years of related experience in social services, human services, workforce development, community relations, or program administration; equivalent experience considered Experience with case management, grant-funded programs, or supportive services preferred Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and compliance Intermediate to proficient Microsoft Office and database skills; experience with client management systems preferred Work Schedule KANA’s standard work schedule is 37.5 working hours per week, consisting of 7.5 paid working hours per day plus a one-hour unpaid lunch break (8.5 hours on site per day).
