• Location: Portsmouth, Ohio (45662) - Portsmouth, OH locum anesthesiology job

• Board Certified Anesthesiologist (minimum board certification required)
• At least 1 year of clinical anesthesiology experience
• Fellowship training preferred
• Experience providing general, pediatric, obstetric, cardiac, thoracic, regional, and complex orthopedic anesthesia
• Proficiency in spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia techniques
• Pain management experience preferred (post-op epidural, extremity blocks, steroid injections)
• Competence in central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placement
• CRNA supervision experience required - demonstrated leadership in CRNA oversight
• Ability to use x-ray guidance for peripheral and transforaminal blocks

• Provide anesthesia care for a broad surgical mix: cardiac, thoracic, vascular, orthopedic, pediatric, and obstetric cases
• Perform spinal, epidural, and advanced regional anesthesia (including extremity and transforaminal blocks)
• Manage perioperative pain techniques and post-op epidural care
• Administer epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical regions when indicated
• Use x-ray guidance for blocks and other image-guided procedures
• Oversee ventilation strategies and manage acute volume/BP issues intraoperatively
• Place central and arterial lines and PA catheters as needed
• Supervise CRNAs, collaborate with surgeons and perioperative staff, and ensure high-quality anesthesia care and patient safety
