Communications Coordinator

Job Description The Communications Coordinator supports internal communication initiatives through communication planning, content development, project coordination, and stakeholder support. This role partners with cross-functional teams to execute communication plans, develop clear and engaging content, coordinate creative assets, and maintain project timelines across a variety of business initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career communications professional who is proactive, organized, curious, and eager to build experience in communication strategy and change communications. Key Responsibilities Support the development and execution of communication plans for organizational initiatives and projects. Draft and edit a variety of communications, including email campaigns, project updates, presentations, newsletters, intranet content, talking points, and signage. Partner with internal stakeholders and graphic design teams to create communication materials and assets. Coordinate project timelines, communication calendars, and deliverables across multiple workstreams. Prepare meeting agendas, document action items, and track follow-up activities. Support communication efforts related to large-scale projects, facility changes, operational updates, technology initiatives, and other ad hoc business needs. Ensure communications are audience-focused, aligned with branding standards, and delivered through the appropriate channels. Help translate complex information into clear, concise messaging. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or a related field preferred. 1-2+ years of professional communications, marketing, public relations, or project coordination experience. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Experience developing or supporting communication plans and campaigns. Proficiency with Microsoft 365; experience with Canva or similar design tools is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
