Our Assistant Kitchen Manager will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation in our kitchen. About the Role: Assistant Kitchen Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, managing a team of cooks and kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food is prepared and served in accordance with our center's policies and procedures. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 0 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare food service, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our culinary team, the Assistant Kitchen Manager will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, managing inventory and supplies, and ensuring that all food is stored, prepared, and served safely. Responsibilities: Assist the Head Chef in planning, organizing, and conducting kitchen operations to ensure that all food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure that all dishes meet our center's high standards of quality and appearance. Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they are knowledgeable about food safety, preparation, and presentation. Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and receiving, to ensure that the kitchen is adequately stocked at all times. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, including regular cleaning and sanitation of equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Monitor kitchen operations to ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with our center's policies and procedures. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all meals are served in a timely and efficient manner. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening in accordance with state regulations.
