Make a positive impact working with students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade as a dedicated paraprofessional. Located near Manchester, NH, this contract opportunity offers the chance to support classroom teachers and students during regular school hours from 8:00am to 3:30pm.
If you have a passion for helping children succeed and want meaningful, hands-on experience in education, this role provides a supportive environment where your contribution is valued. Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting is preferred
- At least 60 college credits or a current paraprofessional certification (certification may be obtained during your assignment)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit
- Ability to follow teacher direction and implement individualized or group support plans
Responsibilities:
- Assist instructors in classroom activities, lesson implementation, and supervision of students
- Provide academic support to students, either one-on-one or in small groups
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support students with special needs as directed by teaching staff
- Help with preparing instructional materials and maintaining an organized classroom
- Monitor student progress and assist with classroom management
