Senior QA SpecialistOur client is seeking a Senior QA Specialist with deep expertise in both front-end and back-end testing to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our data-driven applications and platforms. This role requires hands-on experience across Snowflake, Azure, and Selenium, coupled with a strong understanding of ETL pipelines, data validation, and continuous integration environments.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for data pipelines, APIs, and web applications (front-end and back-end).- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to validate system stability and identify bottlenecks.- Build and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, PyTest, or equivalent tools.- Validate data transformations and business rules across Databricks and Azure Data Services like ADF.- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to define quality standards and acceptance criteria.- Monitor production releases and assist in root cause analysis for defects and performance issues.Skills and Requirements- 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.- Proven ability to perform front-end testing (UI automation, browser compatibility, usability) using Selenium/WebDriver.- Strong back-end testing experience – validating APIs, ETL flows, and database-level checks using Databricks and SQL.- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory and Data Lake.- Understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter, or similar).- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments and test management tools (JIRA, Azure Test Plans).- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. – Exposure to Python-based test automation and Databricks Notebooks.- Experience with Power BI or other BI validation tools.- Knowledge of data governance, data quality metrics, and validation frameworks.- Ability to analyze logs, query large datasets, and support test automation frameworks in a cloud environment.
