Shifts: 36 hrs guaranteed, every other weekend & holiday, no blocked scheduling


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Step-Down RN for a travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This role requires proficiency in cardiac and emergency skills, providing care to patients with conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure and post-heart catheterizations. Key Responsibilities of the Step-Down RN

• Post-heart cath care and TR bands management
• Monitor post-vascular procedures
• Conduct frequent vital signs and neurovascular checks
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac monitoring
• Administer emergency medications and monitor procedural sedation
• Start and maintain IVs, including PICC line management
• Administer blood products and titrate cardiac drips
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP and assist with chest tube procedures

Requirements of the Step-Down RN

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• 2+ years of recent Step-Down experience
• Skills in cardiac telemetry, procedural sedation, and IV management
• Experience with Allscripts charting system
