This onsite position is based in Wilkes-Barre, PA . What you will do As a Healthcare Recruiter, you will lead end-to-end (full cycle) recruiting , from strategy through placement. Your work will span both clinical and non-clinical hiring, partnering closely with leadership to align staffing priorities with recruiting execution. Develop recruiting strategy and manage the process from sourcing and screening through offer negotiation and placement . Attract and recruit healthcare professionals for clinical roles, including advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs) and physicians , as well as non-clinical positions when needed. Collaborate with hiring managers and organizational leadership to understand staffing priorities, recommend recruitment approaches, and drive hiring outcomes. Identify and engage qualified candidates through job boards , social media , networking , referrals , and proactive outreach. Build strong candidate relationships by providing timely communication and delivering a professional recruiting experience. Handle compensation discussions, manage competing priorities, and communicate decisions confidently, including in difficult situations. Maintain accurate ATS records, monitor recruiting performance, and ensure compliance with applicable employment regulations. What you bring 3+ years of full-cycle healthcare recruiting experience required. Experience recruiting advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs) and/or physicians strongly preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple searches , prioritize competing needs, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Strong negotiation, communication, relationship-building, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain accountability for recruiting outcomes. Comfort advising hiring managers and navigating challenging conversations while making confident decisions. Willingness to work outside traditional business hours when needed to accommodate candidate availability. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
