Job Description As a Security Officer Badge Administrator in Tuscaloosa, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, credential verification processes, and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location. Control entry and exit points for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting unusual activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns to the appropriate contact. Monitor visitor management activities, issue and collect access credentials as directed, maintain accurate logs and documentation, and communicate clearly with site personnel regarding entry requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities and following post orders for restricted or hazardous areas. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, gates, and access points to help identify potential issues, support compliance with site rules, and report maintenance or security-related observations. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
