Customer Service Specialist I - Custom & Bulk

Customer Service Specialist role supporting custom and bulk chemical sales within Thermo Fisher Scientific's FCP division. Manages quotations, customer inquiries, and order fulfillment for a global, cross-functional business while building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and distributors across assigned regions
- Prepare quotations and manage customer inquiries through the sales process
- Review, prioritize and process customer sales orders; track fulfillment and proactively manage risks
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain and other teams to resolve customer issues
- Maintain accurate customer and order information in Salesforce and ERP systems
Requirements
- Scientific education or experience in chemical or technical environment
- Prior customer service, sales support, or inside sales experience
- Experience in global or cross-functional organizations
- Strong relationship-building and customer focus skills
- ERP and CRM system proficiency; Salesforce experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills, written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities independently
Compensation: $21.76–$32.64 hourly
