About this Role
An Office Clerk at Irby Construction Company will ensure day-to-day operations of organization run smoothly. Main responsibilities will include entering data, organizing files and supporting the administrative team and project management team.
What You'll Do
Essential Job Functions
- Maintain information databases and spreadsheets, including payroll documents.
- Providing information or directing calls to the appropriate person.
- Record expenses, process invoices, and assist with some accounts payable and credit card reconciliation.
- Assist with administrative and/or project management tasks, such as document preparation, drafting correspondence, and special projects.
- Packing and shipping company materials.
- Make travel arrangements for employees, as needed.
- Operates personal computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software.
- Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.
Job Specific Duties
- Office Skills/Experience required.
- Experience in Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and Power Point required.
- Data Entry, Payroll, Billing/Invoicing experience preferred.

- Preferred: Two years college or equivalent work experience.
- Sitting in a normal seated position for extended periods of time.

- Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard.
- Communication skills using the spoken word.
- Ability to see within normal parameters.
