ISSO on-site in NOVA (1099 or W2)

We are looking to fill one skilled Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) position IMMEDIATELY in Northern Virginia (NOVA). This is a direct-hire position with our company and requires a current SECRET or TS clearance. These positions require 100% on-site work (no remote). MUST HAVE RELATED EXPERIENCE TO APPLY In this position the ideal candidate will work on one or more of the following information technology related functions; Design and implement solutions for protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of sensitive information. Recognized information security expert Provide technical support in the areas of vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, network security, product evaluation, and security implementation. Participate in the design of information system business impact analysis, system categorization, contingency plans, privacy documents, and other system security documentation to maintain appropriate levels of protection and meet requirements for minimizing operational impact to the enterprise. Conduct testing and audit log reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of current security measures. Conduct security product evaluations, and recommend products, technologies and upgrades to improve the customer’s security posture. Required Experience Minimum of ten (10) years experience with Masters Degree (in IT field) or thirteen (13) years experience with Bachelor Degree (in IT field) with federal information systems security policy and implementation. Substantial level of knowledge of federal information system security policy, industry best practices, security control assessments, Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) management, system authorizations, configuration management, and system analysis. Education Masters (+ 10 yrs exp) or Bachelors (+13 years exp) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Physical Science, or other technology-related discipline. Basic Qualifications 5+ years experience as Federal ISSO + IT related degree 10+ years of experience in System Administration, Cyber Security, Information Technology 3 additional years experience if holding only bachelors We offer a very generous compensation package to include 11 Federal Holidays paid + 15 paid vacation days annually, 401k matching plan, $10,000 Medical/Dental allowance, and more.
