Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist position assists patients in pain management. The role focuses on decreasing fall risk, improving mobility and independence, and assisting with discharge planning to enhance the patient's functional mobility. Responsibilities include treating patients with movement dysfunction or pain to improve their ability to perform daily tasks. The position aims to decrease the risk of adverse events such as falls and improve involvement in work tasks. It also involves assisting patients in recovery from surgery and improving overall patient outcomes. Documentation of all patient care activities is essential, including evaluations, progress notes, discharges, daily notes, and insurance communications. Effective communication with other providers, insurance companies, patients, and other rehabilitation staff is required. Additional responsibilities include cleaning treatment rooms and assisting with laundry and bathroom maintenance. Other duties as requested may also be part of the position.
