Speech, Hearing, and Rehabilitation Enterprises of Coastal Georgia Inc. (SHARE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with over 60 years of experience serving people in Glynn County and the surrounding areas of Coastal Georgia with their speech and hearing needs. SHARE is in need of qualified Speech Pathologists to support our Speech and Hearing program. OUR MISSON:  To advocate on behalf of persons with disabilities and to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services of highest quality to disabled individuals of all ages.

Primary Responsibility: Interview, evaluate and provide clinical services to clients. Maintain clients’ records. Counsel parents and clients as needed. Community relations.

 

Immediate Supervisor: Executive Director of S.H.A.R.E.

 

Supervision Responsibilities: None

Duties :

1. Conduct initial interview on new diagnostic referral.

2. Conduct speech-language evaluation and interpret results to client and/or parents(s).

3. Provide direct clinical treatment to children and adults following evaluation.

4. Client recordkeeping to include the initial diagnostic reports, statement of behavioral objectives, daily attendance sheets, termination reports, client staffing notes, and written notation of any other information concerning the client.

5. Provide parental and client counseling as is necessary to further the therapeutic process.

6. Provide clinical services in areas away from the center as needed.

7. Earn minimum continuing education credit hours required for state licensure.

8. Assist other staff members as needed and assist with inter-agency liaison and community relations.

9. Fundraising as needed.

10. Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

 

Job Qualifications : Master’s Degree with major emphasis in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university. Must have earned or be working towards the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Must be eligible for state licensure in speech-language pathology in the State of Georgia.
