Radiation Therapist (Onsite - Pleasant Hill, CA)

Overview Join us in pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably. Responsibilities Analyzes quality information and supports quality processes in assigned units. Serves onsite to collaboratively develop and implement radiation therapy to treat patients in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. Specific duties include: Checking patient information; preparing room and equipment; communicating with patient; transferring patient; Performing radiation treatment; maintaining schedules; maintaining supplies; keeping records; and assisting with teaching. Qualifications Clinical understanding of processes in a medical and radiation oncology department; Excellent interpersonal and exemplary communication skills; Clinical experience in radiation and medical oncology; Registered by the ARRT in Radiation Therapy; Current state license (if applicable); Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility; Proficient in standard business tools such as E‑mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience; One year (or more) of experience preferred but new graduates are considered. Vendor Credentialing & Background Must have full access to client sites and meet vendor credentialing requirements, including valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screening, immunizations (COVID‑19, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus, annual TB testing), and applicable healthcare training. Benefits & Pay Base pay range: $84,130 - $115,676.
