Job Title: CNC Plasma Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Plasma Operator for a 1st shift position. The ideal candidate will have over two years of experience in a job shop environment and be proficient in setting up, operating, and inspecting CNC plasma or laser cutting equipment. This role requires the ability to work from verbal and written instructions and a willingness to perform all assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set-up, inspect, operate, troubleshoot, and modify programs for CNC Plasma / Laser Cutting machinery.
• Perform 1st piece and random inspections using various measuring equipment.
• Work directly from both verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to perform any and all job tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a CNC Plasma / Laser Cutting Job Shop.
• Proficiency in using measuring equipment in both English and Metric measurements, including tape measures, combination and framing squares, precision rulers, calipers, protractors, etc..
• Good communication skills are a must.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with finish grinding is a plus.
• Experience with MIG welding on steel is a plus.
• Experience with spray-painting steel is a plus.

Work Schedule:

• Shift: 1st Shift
• Hours: 4-day, 10-hour workweek, Monday through Thursday.
