Maintenance TechAssist the Facilities Department with the Preventative Maintenance Program to support an Automobile assembly facilityBe able to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, plumbing and electrical problems in an efficient and safe mannerHave good problem solving skills, safety practices and attention to qualityBe able to work alone or on a teamBe able to work outside facility or inside facility on about a 50/50 time splitBe able to occasionally lift and/or move 40 to 50 lbs.Be able to work safely in an aerial lift, on a forklift and on elevated work surfaces (Company training provided)Be physically able to walk distances, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs and laddersBe able to maintain a clean and safe work environment using 5S standardsPass CPR/AED and First Aid Training (Company training provided)Pass Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, PPE Training, and Electrical Safety Training (Company training provided)Follow all company safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelinesWorking knowledge of Commercial HVAC units (Operation, filter changes, belt and sheave adjustments, and coil cleaning)Working knowledge of Industrial Electricity and LightingWorking knowledge of Industrial Plumbing and FixturesWorking knowledge of Commercial Dock Levelers and Dock LocksWorking knowledge of Overhead Doors, High Speed Doors and Sectional DoorsWorking knowledge of Industrial Supply and Exhaust FansMust be able to work Sunday through Thursday from 6am-2:30pm.
