Manager, Human Resources

Report to the Senior Director, Firm Human Resources Manage and plan lawyer evaluation processes and lawyer HR initiatives firmwide Work closely with HRBPs and HR/Legal Talent Leadership to promote service quality and consistency across lawyer populations Facilitate planning and management of HR activities for lawyer populations firmwide Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, HR, and Firm leadership Align HR projects, processes, and programs with Centers of Excellence to ensure efficiency, implementation, and consistency with firm standards and goals Participate in development of Firm HR strategies and identify organizational opportunities Support Practice Group HR Business Partners, HR, and internal stakeholders with non-partner lawyer evaluation and talent processes Lead administration of annual and mid-year evaluations, promotion processes, and Senior Talent initiatives Manage evaluation workflows, communications, reporting, databases, and related systems with HR Operations and IT Prepare, analyze, and interpret lawyer data and reports; provide insights and recommend actions Improve and streamline HR processes, systems, and operational practices Manage lawyer data requests and maintain accurate, timely HR systems and records Develop user documentation, training materials, communication plans, and process resources Lead and participate in HR meetings, projects, and firmwide initiatives Support Firm HR policies, programs, and management principles Provide strategic problem-solving and support additional HR projects Lead and develop staff by establishing priorities, balancing workloads, coaching, providing feedback, and recognizing performance Perform additional responsibilities as assigned Qualified candidates must apply online Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible human resources leadership experience Preferably at least five (5) years in a medium to large sized organization, law firm and/or professional services environment Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered Excellent written and oral communications skills Confident manner and ability to establish credibility quickly Ability to work comfortably in a matrix organization Qualified candidates must apply online Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in managing lawyer evaluation processes and HR initiatives within a law firm or professional services environment, with a strong focus on data analysis, strategic problem-solving, and effective communication.
