Category/Area of Expertise: Store Operations Support Job Requisition: 499780 Address: USA-CT-Fairfield-1160 Kings Highway Cut-off Store Code: Store Support - Brands (5148959) Responsibilities The Manager II Front End will provide oversight and direction related to Front‑End Operations, pick‑from‑store, and wareroom operations across the regions of responsibility. The role leads the Front‑End specialist team, acts as a strategic thought leader with the strategy team on checkout operation evolution, and works closely with DD and VP Store Support for day‑to‑day execution and overall strategy. Key responsibilities include: Lead the industrialization and sustainability of optimal Front‑End best practices across S&S. Implement Front‑end scheduling best practices. Execute Front‑End and Cash office Policies and Procedures. Utilize and adopt Customer Facing Technologies. Schedule and execute policies for pick‑from‑store and wareroom delivery operations. Lead e‑commerce execution across 180 stores representing $676M in annualized sales. Collaborate with the Director of Store Support on initiatives related to front‑end and e‑commerce. Provide thought leadership and support for “Front‑End of the Future” initiatives. Drive results and FE‑related KPIs: Cashier Friendliness, Speed of Checkout, NPS, IPH, IPM, and technology utilization %. Enable customer service and operational standards across the brand. Assist Front‑End specialists, DDs, and Market Leads with improvement plans. Coach reward and recognition practices for performance and customer service. Conduct store visits focusing on coaching and development of Front‑End specialists and store management. Review and report on FE KPIs, pickup/delivery results, and technology utilization. Lead scheduling adherence for Front‑End staff via Kronos. Collaborate with Merchants and Market Leads on merchandising display standards, replenishment, and promotion for Front‑End merchandisers. Maintain a calendar of events related to Front‑End operations and communicate initiatives to Director of Ops Support. Ensure compliance with SNAP, WIC, and EBT regulations. Qualifications 8–10 years of experience in retail operations or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities. Proven customer‑focused problem‑solving and decision‑making approach. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Proactive, self‑motivated with the ability to take initiative and drive results. Ability to travel up to 20% within the designated region.
