Job Description

Take the opportunity to make a meaningful difference as a Registered Nurse supporting an elementary student in a nurturing day school setting. This part-time contract opportunity is focused on providing essential medical care to a kindergarten student, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the school day.

Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, working just 3 hours daily (12pm-3pm, Monday through Friday), with flexibility to increase hours if there are changes in the student's needs. This role allows you to foster strong connections with students and staff in a supportive environment—perfect for RNs seeking work-life balance and an engaging, student-centered experience.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current RN licensure required, with demonstrated competence for pediatric care
Experience with or ability to perform catheterization procedures
Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with educators and support staff
Compassionate and patient-focused, particularly with young children
Previous school nursing or pediatric experience is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one medical care to a kindergarten student, attending to specific health needs
Administer catheterization and support with daily health routines
Monitor and document the student’s status, responding quickly to any changes
Communicate with school staff and families as appropriate
Uphold safety standards and comply with all applicable regulations
