Aegis Worldwide is seeking a CNC Programmer for a client in the Naperville, IL area.
Please see below for more details and apply directly. This position is a 6 month contract to hire position! (Aegis offers benefits + time and a 1/2 for OT)
- CNC Programming experience – pretty straightforward as a large part of this work will be programming.
- MasterCAM Programming experience – ideally someone that has created CNC Programs from scratch.
- Solidworks & Mastercam experience
- Ability and willingness to Setup/Operate the CNC machinery
- Ideally a mix of Lathe and Milling machine experience
- Experience with measurement tools – calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Experience with ISO certified plant locations. (paperwork and quality control that comes with that
- **PLUS's: **
- 3-8+ years of experience – I’d be willing to show anyone north of 3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of 4 & 5 Axis machining would be great
- Experience around Okuma machinery
- Lathe – secondary spindle experience
You should be proficient in:

- CNC Tooling
- CNC Programming
- CNC Machine Installation
- M-Code
- CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
- Advanced Inspection & Gauge Measurement
- Machine Setups for Production Runs

- CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Haas, Okuma, Dmg Mori Seiki)
