The ideal candidate will have a friendly and outgoing personality while also being highly detail-oriented and possessing strong customer service skills. They should be responsible, professional, and able to handle complex situations and a variety of personalities.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate customer registration using the point-of-sale system to register and take payments for figure skating programs, hockey leagues, private lessons, public skating, birthday parties, and moreProcess cash and credit card payments and cash out the register at the end of each shiftAnswer incoming phone calls; respond to customer questions, transfer calls to appropriate departments as needed, and take and distribute accurate messagesOperate office electronics including photocopiers, scanners, point-of-sale system, voicemail, and personal computersAssist management with booking birthday parties and camp field tripsInteract with customers to provide information about upcoming programs, camps, and eventsQualificationsMust be at least 17 years of ageStrong communication skills with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint requiredAbility to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyPosition Type / Expected Hours of WorkThis is a part-time position.
