Overview Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) needed for a travel assignment in Robinson, Illinois. Start date: 11/21/2026. 13-week contract with guaranteed hours. Earn a weekly pay range of $1,920–$1,989. Shift is Nights, 3 days per week on a 3x12 schedule (6:00 pm–6:30 am). Setting: Hospital-based cardiopulmonary care. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,920–$1,989 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 3x12 Start date: 11/21/2026 Setting: Hospital-based respiratory care Responsibilities Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and initial screenings; tailor therapy plans based on physician orders and patient age, culture, and psychosocial factors Initiate and administer prescribed respiratory therapies and medications; monitor patient responses and adjust therapies as needed Track physiological responses to therapy (vital signs, arterial blood gases, blood chemistry) and consult with physicians if adverse events occur Conduct tests such as lung function assessments and monitoring for cardiopulmonary function; optimize equipment settings to achieve therapeutic goals Maintain accurate documentation in electronic and hard copy patient records; ensure timely updates and proper hand-off communications Uphold safety standards to minimize the risk of errors; participate in performance improvement activities and comply with all safety procedures Requirements Current IL Respiratory Therapist License required BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS required Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate EMR programs Ability to work in a hospital setting and contribute to a high-reliability environment Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Assignment onboarding and credentialing assistance Travel logistics support Housing options and relocation support available Dedicated support throughout the assignment About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
