OB Hospitalist – San Jose, CA Maternal-Fetal Medicine–Led Hospitalist Program | Full-Time | Permanent

Join a high-acuity, collaborative OB Hospitalist team , San Jose, within Silicon Valley’s premier healthcare setting. The program features advanced neonatal and anesthesia support with a strong emphasis on maternal-fetal care excellence .

• Board Status Required: OB-GYN Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Residency Requirement: Must reside locally or be willing to relocate

• 24-hour in-house OB Hospitalist coverage within a Maternal-Fetal Medicine–led practice
• Manage OB triage for unassigned patients and private physician requests
• Respond to and manage MFM patient transports (approx. 5–6/month)
• Assist in cesarean sections (0–3 cases/month; assist in 1–2 cases)
• Conduct inpatient rounding , including postpartum patients
• Participate in antepartum rounding with MFM specialists
• Perform gynecologic emergency department evaluations for unassigned patients
• Coordinate care in a high-acuity obstetric setting with:
  • Level III NICU
  • 24-hour dedicated Anesthesiology coverage for Labor & Delivery
  • 24-hour Neonatology coverage
  • 24-hour Pediatric Hospitalist coverage
• Collaborate with on-call GYN surgical service for gynecologic surgical management
• Deliver comprehensive obstetric hospitalist care in a high-volume, multidisciplinary environment

• Permanent, full-time position
• Relocation may be required

• Competitive base salary
• Additional Pay: $190/hour for extra clinical hours
