As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure, efficient environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and remain visible to help deter incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Screen incoming and outgoing individuals, vehicles, packages, and materials in accordance with site procedures and access-control requirements. Verify identification, credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization for entry to restricted areas; report discrepancies to appropriate site contacts. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, building entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
