Job Description

Consistent Work with Colorado's Leading Home Efficiency Team

Location: Field-Based (Greater Denver Metro / Lakewood, CO)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday (Some weekends may be offered)

Compensation: $25-27/hour

The Opportunity

Are you the kind of person who takes pride in a hard day's work and seeing the tangible results of your effort?

Are you excited to work on a team and learn various residential trade skills?

We are Colorado's leading expert in comprehensive home efficiency. We don't just talk about energy savings; we deliver them through rigorous execution. As a local, family-owned, and veteran-operated company, we are looking for a dedicated Energy Efficiency, Insulation & Air Sealing Technician to lead the charge on our most impactful projects. We also offer plumbing, electrical, skylight, ventilation services, offering cross-learning and lateral opportunities.

You will be the hands-on expert transforming homes from drafty and inefficient to comfortable and high-performing. This isn't just "labor"; it's precision work that requires attention to detail, problem-solving, and a "get it done right" attitude.

Why You'll Love Working With Us

• Mission-Driven Work: You aren't just blowing insulation; you are directly improving the comfort, safety, and energy efficiency of our neighbors' homes.
• Investment in You: We believe in continuous improvement. You will receive training on building science, air sealing best practices, and equipment operation.
• Clear Career Path: We are a growing company. Master this role, and opportunities for crew leadership and specialized technical roles await.
• Values-First Culture: We live by our core values: Present and Focused, Customer First, Growth Mindset, and Rigorous Execution . If you share these values, you'll find a home here.

Your Mission

Reporting to the Energy Efficiency Lead, you will be responsible for the routine execution of energy efficiency upgrades.

• The Attic Warrior: You will learn from experienced energy efficiency experts, helping to load the truck to prepare for the day, setup and clean up job sites, and help with speedy, thorough execution at every step.
• Precision Air Sealing: You will hunt down and seal air leaks using foam, caulk, and other materials. Attention to detail is critical here—missing a leak means missing the goal.
• Insulation Execution: You will operate insulation blowing machines and ensure consistent, to-code coverage in attics and walls.
• Customer Respect: You treat every home better than your own, ensuring a spotless cleanup and professional demeanor at all times.

Who We Are Looking For

We hire for attitude and train for skill. However, this role requires a specific type of person.

The Essentials:

• Grit & Resilience: You are physically fit and capable of working in challenging environments (hot attics, tight crawlspaces) for extended periods. You view these challenges as part of the job, not a reason to complain.
• Attention to Detail: You understand that "good enough" isn't good enough. You take pride in sealing every gap and ensuring even insulation coverage.
• Reliability: You show up on time, ready to work, every single day. Our team and our customers depend on you.
• Team Player: You work well with others, communicating clearly with your Crew Lead and supporting your teammates.
• Valid Driver's License: You have a clean driving record and reliable transportation to the shop.

Bonus Points:

• Previous experience in residential construction, HVAC, or insulation.
• Familiarity with building science principles or BPI standards.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Your success will be measured by:

• Supervisor Feedback Score: Formal feedback from your Crew Lead on your work quality and attitude.
• Attendance/Punctuality: Being on time and ready to work is non-negotiable.
• Professional Image: Maintaining a clean uniform and adhering to company standards on every job site.

Benefits

• Competitive Pay & Bonus Opportunities
• 401(k) matching
• Health, Dental, and Vision insurance
• Life insurance
• Paid Time Off
• Professional development assistance
• Employee discount
