We are looking for you! $71,000- $90,000 with bonus opportunities Monday - Friday, daytime hours. Early access: Your benefits start after just 30 days of employment The Branch Manager oversees daily store operations to achieve or advance sales and margin goals. This involves promoting sales, delivering excellent customer service, nurturing inventory levels, and balancing expenses through purchase supporting. Additionally, the Branch Manager fosters facility and staff alignment to safety and regulatory standards, empowering team members in providing efficient customer service, maintaining good housekeeping, and harmonizing overall operational efficiency. Provide professional customer service for all internal and external customers and call-in product, pricing, and technical inquiries. Support the outside sales team in nurturing existing client relationships and welcoming new business opportunities. Support the flow of accurate and timely daily processing of financial transactions, including cash reports, charge tickets, coding, costing, pricing, daily cash summaries, and bank deposits. Maintain the accuracy of back order, open order, and Purchase Order (PO) expedite reports. Cultivate and refine appropriate cylinder and hard goods inventory levels for the branch. Facilitate and lead training for inside sales associates on product knowledge, company policies, processes, procedures, and safety, ensuring the confidence that all associates can perform essential branch functions. Conduct periodic performance reviews for branch associates. Act as a bridge between employees and management, providing performance mentorship and guidance in collaboration with Human Resources and senior management. Are You a Match? Required Qualifications: 2+ management experience in a customer facing environment. Background in supporting and leading teams within a retail or industrial distribution environment. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally up to 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment. Proficient computer skills and an interest in learning new digital tools. The ability to navigate multiple priorities concurrently Self-motivated with a focus on contributing to the overall team's success. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively act as a bridge between staff and management. Preferred Qualifications: A track record of meaningful contributions in the welding, gas, or safety industry. 3+ years of experience in a role focused on nurturing team growth and operational efficiency. 5+ years' experience in sales with a track record of meaningful contributions. Experience with inventory cultivation and vendor relationship support. We care about and support our Airgas Families.
