This busy level 3 trauma center provides comprehensive anesthesia services across multiple surgical specialties. The facility maintains established protocols designed to support autonomous CRNA practice while ensuring quality patient care delivery. The hospital operates with modern anesthesia capabilities and supports diverse case types including orthopedic, spine, neurological, and obstetric procedures.

Kirksville offers outdoor recreation opportunities at Thousand Hills State Park and educational attractions including a planetarium and the Museum of Osteopathic Medicine. The clinician will provide comprehensive anesthesia services with a flexible schedule working cases including orthopedic, spine, neuro, regional, thoracic, some pediatric, and obstetric procedures. The position operates under an autonomous practice model with day shifts and possible back up call coverage as needed. Board certification is required with a credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days. The role offers clinical variety across multiple surgical specialties while maintaining autonomous practice authority.
