We believe first and foremost this is a relationship driven business and seek solid, long-term opportunities with credible partners.Job OverviewLead the Providence Hospitality Partners Business Development effort in acquiring new Hotel Management Agreements (contracts) to achieve clearly defined strategic growth objectives. The position reports directly to the CEO.Essential FunctionsSource and qualify leads for new Hotel Management Contracts in strategic marketsNegotiate and secure management contracts from lead generation and issuance of proposal to signing of the HMAPrepare customized proposals by utilizing “Deck” presentationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with Hotel Investors, Owners, Private Equity Groups, Brand Executives, Hotel Brokers, Consulting Firms, Asset Managers and Professional FirmsPrepare and present Proformas and develop Return on Investment AnalysisDevelop a quarterly action plan and budget required to achieve our stated growth objectivesAttend strategic Hospitality Industry eventsC. Qualifications: “Must Haves”Minimum of five years of experience, with a proven ability to secure Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) Growth GoalsKnowledge of hospitality and hotel real estate markets, including operations, debt/equity structuresStrong understanding of financial analysis, underwriting acquisitions, and proficiency with financial modelingInterest in working as part of a small and growing company, with awareness about the opportunities and challenges that come with a highly adaptive environmentActive listener, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong creativity and critical thinking abilitiesA results focused self-starter, with drive to achieve stated growth goals.Be a curious individual, ready to take calculated risks towards promoting company’s goals and idealsAbility to grow and maintain relationship with any individual, irrespective of the background and type of personalityHigh level of personal integrity and accountabilityHighly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at once. o Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate uncertaintySolid knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power PointDesire to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. Strong enough mentally to work under pressure and without complaintUp to 50% travel requiredBachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business, Hotel Management, Finance, or related field of study. MBA is viewed favorably but not requiredCompensation and Benefits:The salary range for this position is negotiable but generally between $_120,000_ - $ 160,000_ in base pay, with final base pay offering based on experience and proven ability. In addition to base pay, the position will reward the candidate with realized deal-based incentives as a % of contracted revenue for the first __3__ years of any new and finalized contract.Benefits include access to medical, dental, vision and life insurance as well HSA / FSA, 401(k).
