Travel Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

Join our team as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist in Apopka, FL, and apply your expertise in communication and swallowing disorders within a skilled nursing setting. Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active Florida state SLP license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dysphagia management and swallow evaluations in post-acute or long-term care residents.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation in skilled nursing environments.
• Previous travel SLP experience preferred.

• Shift Days: M-F.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide skilled speech-language services to residents in a skilled nursing environment. You will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, develop individualized care plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and document progress according to facility and state requirements.
