Operations Training Specialist

Cencora seeks an Operations Training Specialist to design and deliver training programs across distribution centers in Sugar Land, Texas. The role involves developing learning materials, assessing associate competencies, and overseeing warehouse operations training including compliance, safety, and standard procedures.
Responsibilities
- Deliver training programs covering compliance, safety, job functions, and standard operating procedures
- Assess associate skills and performance; prepare evaluations and improvement recommendations
- Develop training materials, instructional content, and visual aids as subject matter expert
- Onboard new hires and manage training curriculum; identify skill gaps and future training needs
- Oversee warehouse operations training in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and related areas
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and five years' experience, or equivalent combination
- Training program experience highly preferred
- Warehouse operations experience desirable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with software technology and remote meeting platforms
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
- Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred
