Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a contract opportunity supporting students as a skilled Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role covers two unique needs: a maternity leave position (beginning November 5th through mid-February) as well as a full school year assignment (August 24, 2026 - June 11, 2027). You'll work primarily onsite near Bellevue, MI, with an ideal hybrid schedule—three days in-person, one day remote, and a total of 30 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Current, valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Michigan (must provide copy)
• Previous experience working as a school-based OT is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEP) and special education protocols
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary support teams
• Reliable access to technology for remote work components

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments in school settings
• Design and implement individualized intervention plans for students with various needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
• Monitor student progress, adapting strategies as needed
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation according to district and state requirements
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning
