Position: Sourcing Program Support Specialist

Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
Job Description:
Requirements:
- Associate degree in a technical field preferred. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications desired.
- Microsoft Office proficient; especially in Excel (pivot tables, etc.)
- Previous experience working on a project team with exposure to project scheduling and cross-functional interactions.
- Possess excellent communication skills both written and orally as they will be working with a variety of suppliers
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and track request for quote (RFQ) activities
- Work with suppliers to ensure PO promises are input into the ERP system
- Monitor supplier development schedules; work proactively to highlight risks and identify potential impact to delivery schedules
- PPAP execution; monitor and expedite supplier qualification process steps with appropriate functions as necessary.
- Interface with manufacturing team to support first build
- Maintain product cost information and provide analysis and summaries as required
- Gather and maintain data related to overall program metrics. Provide summaries and prepare weekly updates as required
