Senior Accountant

We are working with a growing streetwear and apparel business with a strong presence across the fashion industry, including pop-ups and activations around New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week . The business is a startup and is looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant who is comfortable owning the day-to-day numbers while helping build stronger financial processes as the company grows. This is not a purely reporting-focused role. They want someone who is happy getting into the detail across debits and credits, bookkeeping, reconciliations, W-9s, AP/AR, expenses, month-end close and general ledger activity , while also being capable of taking on broader senior accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in fashion, apparel, streetwear or consumer brands and enjoy working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. Key responsibilities: Own day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping Manage general ledger, journal entries and reconciliations Support AP, AR and expense management Handle W-9s, vendor documentation and related accounting administration Assist with month-end and year-end close Maintain accurate financial records and reporting Improve accounting processes and controls as the business scales Work closely with founders and senior leadership on financial matters Ideal background: Senior Accountant, Staff Accountant or similar experience Strong understanding of debits, credits and core accounting principles Comfortable being very hands-on in a startup or growing business Experience within fashion, apparel, retail, e-commerce or consumer brands is highly desirable Genuine interest in fashion and streetwear #J-18808-Ljbffr Blayze Group
