Data Analyst

Searching for a Data Analyst to perform detailed data analysis and communicate the results of that analysis to senior staff members and customers. This person will be responsible for managing the highest levels of data quality while integrating new sources of data as well as performing forensic data analysis on legacy data sources. Experience with handling, analyzing, and reporting on data is essential to meeting position requirements that include the detailed and deep analysis of data sources, ability to make decisions and recommendations based on that analysis, and coordination of projects with multiple cross functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate new data into production platforms.
• Load production-ready data into production platforms.
• Mine databases for the purpose of understanding data lineage in legacy systems.
• Understand the implications of integrating new data into production platforms.
• Write business requirements and business rules for managing and integrating data into commercial databases.
• Communicate effectively across all parts of the organization to execute data integration initiatives and ensure the highest level of data quality.
• Develop testing procedures and acceptance criteria for database development projects to ensure technology implementations are correct and file quality meets acceptance criteria.
• Research and resolve customer issues rooted in issues with data quality.
• Attend customer-facing meetings and respond to questions / analysis requests using data analysis techniques.

Skills/Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading (SSIS, ETL,.net)
• 6+ years data analytical skills including strong skills in data quality tools (SQL, SAS, BI, ETL, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms of Google, AWS, and Azure.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of commercial data for credit, marketing and data management applications is highly desired.
• Self-starter with the ability to dig for answers without heavy direct instruction.
• Good organization and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional organization.
