Human Resources GeneralistPerforms functions in support of the HR Department by assisting the HR Director.Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.Ensure and maintain confidentialityAnswer telephones, type, file, fax and photocopy informationResponsible for filing and maintaining files up to dateAssist in updating and maintaining information for bulletin boardsDistribute internal mail and / or forms to other department and officesMaintain inventory of office supplies and formsAssist with planning and coordination of all company eventsMaintain HR Calendar in Outlook with all company eventsAssist with employee reservationsCreate, update, and maintain employee benefit filesSend enrollment emails as employees become eligible for benefitsMaintain accurate data within the benefits enrollment system to ensure accurate coverage and billingInput employee hours weekly into Benefits Connect for ACA complianceAdministration of HSA contributionsAssist with applicants and general employment needsAssist with inputting all employee information into ADP such as personal data, compensation, attendance, terminations, and any other employee changeIssue employee name tags, business cards and Salto keysAssist with the processing of employment applications, new hires, terminations, personnel changes, and other employment activitiesCommunicate all new hires and terminations to IT in order for them to be added/deleted from Outlook distributions listsAdminister all background checks and drug test through First ChoiceCreate and maintain employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other usesAssist in new employee orientation and participates with Benefits InformationPrepare and mail employee birthday and anniversary cards monthlyPrepare Benefit Enrollment Packages and process Benefits Enrollment form as requirementProvide necessary information and assistance to employeesAttend HR related functions, meetings, training, and informational seminars for the benefit of the HotelAttend department meetingsOther duties and responsibilities may be assigned.Update job hotline, hhrabc website, hotel website, and all other job postingsPhysical Requirements:The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
