Please read the Job Description - Specifically Looking for a self starter, experienced CONTROLLER WITH LOW INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDIT REAL PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT E xperience REQUIRED. (LIHTC) Work Experience Requirements Previous supervisory and management experience. Intermediate knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Completion and implementation of internal controls. Thorough understanding of LIHTC industry and reporting. Completion and issuance of state agency cost certifications. 10% Test. Reconciliation of Job Cost Accounting to the Financial Statements. Issuance of financial audits in accordance with GAAP. Coordination of issuance of tax returns. Timely reporting of financial statement reporting to meet the strict 45-day end of the year reporting period requirement. Thorough understanding of construction draws and funding requirements for real estate development. Education Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance or related required. Master’s Degree (preferably MBA| master’s in Finance, Accounting, Business or related) and/or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred. Big 4 or any public accounting experience preferred. Low Income Housing Tax Credit Development experience required. Experience with developing controls, procedures required.
