Job Type: Contract to Hire
Skillforce is currently hiring experienced CNC Operators for a manufacturing facility in New Albany, IN. The ideal candidate will have CNC operating experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality parts in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery according to production requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Monitor machine operation and production output.
- Perform in-process and finished-product quality checks.
- Make basic machine adjustments as needed.
- Identify production or quality issues and communicate them to the appropriate team members.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety and production procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous CNC operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
