We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee core financial operations and help strengthen the accounting function in Ohio. This role is suited for someone in finance who brings strong technical accounting knowledge along with a practical mindset for improving workflows, reporting, and accuracy. You will work closely with leadership to support sound financial decision-making while advancing efficient, scalable accounting practices.

Responsibilities:
• Direct the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycle to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
• Produce financial statements and internal reports that give leadership clear visibility into business performance.
• Maintain the general ledger, review journal entries, reconcile accounts, and monitor cash activity across the organization.
• Guide day-to-day accounting operations related to payables, receivables, and payroll-related entries.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and broader financial planning efforts by providing reliable accounting data and analysis.
• Strengthen internal controls and refine accounting procedures to promote consistency, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
• Evaluate opportunities to automate manual tasks and introduce technology solutions that improve precision and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to deliver financial insights that support planning and business decisions.
• Assist with audit preparation, tax support, compliance obligations, and other required financial reporting activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.

• At least 5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including leadership experience.

• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and standard financial reporting practices.

• Hands-on experience managing close processes and maintaining general ledger accuracy.

• Strong Excel capabilities with the ability to analyze financial data effectively.

• Familiarity with accounting platforms and financial systems used to support reporting and process improvement.

• Proven ability to enhance accounting workflows through automation, technology, or process optimization.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across departments.
