Plant Custodian

Position Summary As the Plant Custodian, you will be responsible for the daily cleanliness of the facility, which includes the production and office areas. Part‑time. Non‑benefits eligible. Pay is $19.05 per hour, plus a 5% shift differential for second and third shift. Essential Job Functions Follow all defined/implied safety policies, procedures, and applicable Job Safety Analyses. Be an active participant in the Plant's efforts to achieve and maintain zero injuries and near‑misses. Adhere to the established Good Manufacturing and sanitation principles. Abide by the plant's work rules, policies, and procedures. Maintain a neat and orderly workstation. Participate in and support the Plant's Continuous Improvement efforts. Perform all other custodial duties as assigned. Job Requirements Ability to effectively communicate in English and follow written instructions. Possess the skills to operate and use custodial tools proficiently. Ability to be Forklift Certified. Experience / Education High School Diploma or Equivalent. 3 years of custodial experience in a manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs and work inside and outside of the manufacturing facility. Silgan Containers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
